Day 1 Welcome to Christchurch

After your meet and greet at the Christchurch airport, you will be transported to our tour hotel, for an afternoon of relaxing and getting to know your fellow travellers.


Tonight we are welcomed to NZ, with a traditional Hangi Dinner at Ko Tane Village.
Ko Tane is a living Maori Village at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, where Maori culture and conservation meet to give you a unique glimpse into the way of life of the South Island Ngai Tahu Maori people before the arrival of the Europeans. Experience the thrill of the wero, the traditional challenge to visitors, as you are brought into the sacred precinct of Tane, Maori God of the Forests. Hear the haunting traditional call, the Karanga, performed by a wahine (woman) as the powhiri (ritual of arrival) begins, allowing you to enter our hidden enclave.


You will be invited to take part in a performance of the haka (men) or the poi dance (women), and be entertained by the songs and games performed by the kapa haka (Maori cultural performance) group. You will dine and enjoy a four course hangi cooked dinner (earth Over).

Day 2: Mt Hutt

After Breakfast, we head off early to the enjoy the ski fields of Mt Hutt.


Mt Hutt is the most popular ski field in the Canterbury region, and a favourite with Christchurch locals. There is 365 hectares of skiable terrain for you to enjoy, with the longest run a rewarding 2km. Mt Hutt ski field is a mixture of 25% beginners, 50% intermediate and 25% advanced, so there are trails suitable for everyone.

This 4 star hotel is nestled into the foothills of majestic Mt Hutt, surrounded by the perfect mixture of nature and a range of exhilarating recreational and pleasure activities.

Day 3: Day trip to Porters Ski Fields

After breakfast, we head off for a day at Porters Ski Fields, a local Club field.
Porters is the closest Ski Field to Christchurch. Whatever your ability, you’ll feel right at home, with gentle runs and easy lifts for beginners and kids, long cruising runs for the intermediates and super challenging terrain for advanced skiers and riders. The Porters Mountain Park offers a challenge for the more adventurous, and a great platform to progress your freestyle skills.


Tonight is yours to explore the town of Methven.

Day 4: Methven to Lake Tekapo

Today is a scenic drive as we start making our way south. Total drive time is approximately 3 hours.


Along the way, we will visit Tekapo Springs for the ultimate winter experience of Hot Pools, Ice Skating and Snow Tubing. Tekapo Springs offers three adjoining main Hot Pools, each with something different from massage jets to splash fountains, to enjoy and relax in whilst taking in the scenery.For the more active, ice skating is included ,or for an adrenalin pumping ride, you’ll also get an hour of snow tubing. Please note: children must be at least 1 metre tall to use the tube park.

Lake Ohau Lodge sits overlooking Lake Ohau with a magnificent mountain backdrop. The onsite restaurant and comfortable rooms make this a relaxing base to explore the ski field or walking and biking tracks.

Day 5: Full day of skiing at Ohau Ski Field

Ohau Ski Area caters for all skiing and snowboarding abilities and offers a breath-taking backdrop of the Southern Alps and Lake Ohau below. For the beginners, the snow mat takes you to gentle slopes for learning and you can book lessons with the friendly Ohau instructors. Intermediate skiers and boarders are well looked after with 50% of the terrain graded intermediate. Take the double chair lift to the top of the mountain where you’ll ride wide flat slopes down the Boulevard with style. For those looking for more of a challenge, hiking around the tops to access the best powder snow is definitely worth it, not to mention the unbelievable views. Wanting to practice your tricks there are 2 terrain parks, 1 for beginners and an intermediate/advanced park. When you’re ready for a break the day lodge is a cosy space with a log burner, large social tables and the onsite café offers great food and coffee.


At the end of the day, we head to Wanaka for our next stop.


Tonight we relax and tell ski stories over our 2 course dinner at the hotel.

Edgewater is Wanaka’s leading hotel located right on the edge of Lake Wanaka. A short stroll to the town centres shops, cafes and restaurants and close to many walking trails the resort is ideal to explore this wonderful Alpine setting

Day 6: Full Day Skiing at Cardona Ski Fields

Tonight is yours to enjoy out on the town in Wanaka.

Day 7: Full day Skiing at Treble Cone Ski Resort

Treble Cone boasts the South Islands biggest Vertical and Largest Ski area. It is known for its legendary off piste terrain and unrivalled views over Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps. For the advanced and experts, there are open powder faces and natural half pipes to play in, along with some of the steepest and most challenging terrain on the Motatpu Chutes. For the Beginners and intermediates, there are uncrowded groomed runs, with the longest being 4kms. No matter your experience, there is something unforgettable for you at Treble Cone.

Day 8: Wanaka to Queenstown

Leaving Wanaka we head over New Zealand’s highest sealed road, Crown Range Road before dropping into Queenstown. Along the way, we will visit UnderDog New Zealand.


This is the chance to immerse yourself and experience the world of sled dogs. The tour starts with taking a short snowmobile ride to the touring site. On arrival, it’s time to learn about the dogs the equipment and of course the dogs themselves. The instructors will take you through a 10-15 minute lesson on driving a dog team and then it is your turn to take the team for a spin, taking command of your own team of Huskies and driving them along the stunning back country trails. Once we get back in it is now your chance to get amongst all the dogs for some well deserved cuddles.


Then it is on to Queenstown.


Queenstown sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu and is set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Aside from skiing, it is very much renowned for adventure sports, from Bungy Jumping of the Ledge, Ziplining above the town, to riding the Shotover Jet, or Sharknado.


Once we arrive, the rest of the day is yours to explore.

Day 9: Full day Skiing at The Remarkables

An early breakfast and then we head off for a full day skiing at The Remarkables.


The Remarkables offers a laid-back atmosphere which is fantastic for families and those new to skiing or snowboarding. Located just 45 minutes from Queenstown, the Remarkables features a fantastic network of trails with wide, gentle slopes for beginners of all ages and big mountain runs for the experts in the family. With 30% beginners, 40% intermediate and 30% advanced, the Remarkables offers challenges for all levels While you’re up there don’t forget to check out the purpose-built snow tubing lanes before you round off with a steaming hot chocolate or drink at Remarkables café.

Day 10: Full Day skiing at Coronet Peak

An early breakfast and then we head off for a full day skiing at Coronet Peak.


Want to challenge yourself on exciting terrain in some of the best conditions in the Southern Hemisphere? Then Coronet Peak should be top of your list. This theme park created by mother nature offers gripping trails and the extensive snowmaking facilities, makes for complete snow coverage on multiple trails. Coronet is also home to night skiing for a different take on these roller coaster trails try it under lights. For those just getting to know the snow the dedicated learner and novice areas make finding your snow feet easy and all gear can be hired on the mountain. With 25% beginners, 45% intermediate and 30% advanced, Coronet Peak has the trail for you. For a break from the snow, enjoy live music at the base building, or wet your whistle with a hot chocolate or cold beverage at Heidi’s Hut. The pizza and pasta meals are great for warming you up and giving you an energy boost for the afternoon.


Tonight, we enjoy our last supper together, before we bid a fond farewell.

Day 11: It is time to say Farewell, and depart for the airport.
